MapleStory Classic World Mesos Guide for Level 30 Job Advancement 2026

Reaching Level 30 in MapleStory Classic World is one of the first major milestones for a new character. Your second job becomes available, training maps begin to change, equipment costs increase, and potion consumption can rise quickly. This is also the point where having enough Mesos starts to matter much more than it did during the earliest levels.

1. Why Level 30 Changes Your Mesos Needs

Levels 1–20 can often be completed with relatively basic equipment and inexpensive supplies. Around Level 30, however, players begin entering the early second-job stage where stronger monsters, longer training sessions and more demanding maps become normal.

You may suddenly need better weapons, additional armor pieces, more HP or MP potions and extra Mesos for transportation between towns and training areas. A character with almost no Mesos remaining after job advancement can quickly find progression much slower than expected.

2. Do Not Spend All Your Mesos on One Weapon

A common early-game mistake is using nearly the entire Mesos balance on one weapon as soon as Level 30 is reached. A weapon upgrade can certainly improve damage, but your character still needs enough currency for potions, equipment repairs or replacements, transportation and future upgrades.

A better approach is to treat your Mesos as a complete progression budget. Damage matters, but continuous training matters too. An expensive weapon does little good if you are forced to stop training because you cannot afford enough HP or MP potions.

3. Potion Costs Become More Important

Potion usage depends heavily on your class. Warriors can consume significant amounts of HP recovery items, while Magicians may spend much more on MP. Clerics can eventually reduce some of these costs through Heal and MP Eater, but they still need enough Mesos to reach the point where those skills become effective.

For this reason, it is worth keeping a separate potion reserve instead of treating every Mesos earned as equipment money. Players who can train continuously usually progress faster than players who repeatedly return to town because their supplies have run out.

4. Your Class Changes How Much Mesos You Need

Not every Level 30 character has the same expenses. A Fighter, Hunter, Assassin, Cleric and other second-job classes can have very different equipment and potion requirements.

Class TypeTypical Mesos PressureMain Expense
WarriorMedium to HighWeapons, armor and HP potions
MagicianMedium to HighMP potions and equipment
ArcherMediumWeapon upgrades and supplies
ThiefMedium to HighWeapons, stars or class equipment

5. Keep Mesos Available for Better Training Maps

After second-job advancement, many players begin moving away from their original training areas. Better maps may require additional travel, more potion usage or different equipment to maintain good killing speed.

The goal should not simply be to reach Level 30. The better goal is to reach Level 30 with enough resources to continue progressing toward Level 40 and beyond without unnecessary interruptions.

6. What If You Do Not Have Enough Mesos?

Farming everything yourself is always an option, but during the early launch period many players would rather spend their limited gaming time leveling, completing job advancement and exploring new maps instead of repeatedly farming low-level monsters for currency.

Players who need additional currency can Buy MapleStory Classic World Mesos from LootWoW and use the extra budget for potions, equipment and continued character progression.

8. A Better Mesos Plan for Level 30–40

Instead of spending Mesos randomly, divide your currency into several categories. Keep one portion for equipment, another for potions and another as an emergency reserve. This makes it much easier to continue training if prices change or if your preferred map consumes more supplies than expected.

Equipment: Upgrade only when the improvement is meaningful.

Potions: Keep enough for several training sessions.

Travel: Reserve some Mesos for moving between towns and maps.

Emergency Fund: Avoid allowing your balance to fall close to zero.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much Mesos should I have at Level 30?

There is no single amount that works for every character. Your class, current equipment, potion usage and preferred training maps all affect how much you need.

Should I buy a new weapon immediately after second job?

Only if the upgrade gives a meaningful improvement without consuming most of your available Mesos. Keeping enough currency for training supplies is usually more important than buying one expensive item too early.

Why are potions so important around Level 30?

Training sessions become longer and monsters become stronger. Running out of HP or MP recovery items can significantly reduce your EXP per hour.

Where can I get more MapleStory Classic World Mesos?

Players who want to spend more time leveling instead of farming can use LootWoW for competitive MapleStory Classic World Mesos pricing and customer support.
